The last time I was in Chicago I was creepin' around my sister's apartment and wound up in her roommate CLAIRE's room. Bathroom to be specific. After finding nothing suspect in any drawers, and using her toothpaste, I came across this painting.
I thought to myself:
I LOVE this painting.
I WANT this painting.
So I started my crusade to see how I could obtain such a work of art, only to learn that the wiley and unpredictable fiery redhead Claire Rooney done made it herself!
As an avid emerging talent supporter I asked (told) her to make me one to take back to LA and pimp her out.
"NO."
Thud.
The beauty of this story is that since Claire lives with my sister Colleen, she, by default, has to do anything I say. You see, my role in the family was that I got whatever I wanted. I didn't agree with this LABEL but in such a case as above, I can pull out the proper tools to manipulate, or sculpt the outcome of a situation.
